Job Summary:

BlueSun has an excellent opportunity for a Building and Grounds Maintenance Worker for the City of Corvallis Building and Grounds Services Assists in performing repair and maintenance of buildings, facilities and grounds, and landscaping at various City locations. Performs maintenance and repair, and pressure washing and painting of structures, buildings, facilities and appurtenances. Provides grounds maintenance support for buildings and facilities, landscaping and weather-related maintenance. Responds to calls for minor repairs of City building performing functions such as replacing light bulbs, spill cleanup, faucet, sink and toilet repair and unclogging.

Duties:

Possibly but not limited to: Manual Labor Outdoor (all weather) (Possibility of snow removal if applicable) Weeding (hand pulling/hoeing) Trimming of shrubs(electric trimmer/gas trimmer) Leaf blower operation(gas/electric) Raking(hand rake) Trash pick-up(with tongs where applicable) Some pressure washing possibility(gas operated) Office moves assistance(up and down stairs) Lifting Stooping/bending Hands and knee in flower beds

Minimum Qualifications:

Combination of education, training or experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position. We are looking to have someone almost be 'on call' during the next few months as work is needed. 15 hours a week are pretty much guaranteed but could be up to 30 per week as work is needed.
