Guests come here to relax, enjoy nature, and experience the best of nearby wineries, live music, golf, casinos, historic small towns, and an aviation museum. Our team takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment. As a Seasonal Groundskeeper, you will play a direct role in creating the first impression our guests have when they arrive and the experience they remember when they leave. The Opportunity This full-time seasonal role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in hands-on work, and wants to see the visible impact of their efforts every day. You will be responsible for keeping our lawns, landscaping, and outdoor common areas looking their best throughout the busy season. Working closely with the Head of Maintenance, you will learn the property, build your skills with landscaping equipment and basic repairs, and help keep the resort safe, attractive, and guest-ready at all times. What You'll Do Maintain lawns, trees, irrigation systems, and landscaped areas so the property looks clean, healthy, and inviting for guests. Keep outdoor common areas, pathways, and facilities free of debris, clutter, and safety hazards. Perform entry-level maintenance tasks, basic repairs, and general exterior upkeep as directed. Operate, clean, and care for landscaping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner. Assist with seasonal projects and property improvements, and support the Head of Maintenance with additional tasks as needed, including propane filling after training. What Success Looks Like Within the first 30 days, you consistently complete daily and weekly grounds tasks on schedule, with lawns, beds, and common areas kept neat and guest-ready. By mid-season, you can independently operate key equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) and follow routine maintenance procedures safely. You proactively spot and report maintenance or safety issues before they affect guests, helping to prevent incidents and service interruptions. By the end of the season, guest-facing outdoor areas are consistently clean, safe, and visually appealing, reflected in positive guest feedback and fewer appearance-related complaints. What We're Looking For Hands-on experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or similar outdoor work, or strong interest and aptitude for this type of work. Comfort using or learning lawn care equipment and basic maintenance practices, with attention to safety. Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions, including lifting, walking, bending, and equipment use. Reliable, self-motivated work style with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and work independently or with a small team. Compensation and Benefits $15 to $20 per hour DOE Seasonal full-time role at an on-site RV resort / hospitality property Full-time, seasonal employment Primarily daytime, outdoor work; may include weekends and holidays based on guest demand How to Apply If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in creating clean, attractive spaces, we invite you to apply with your resume or a brief summary of your relevant experience. Qualified candidates will be contacted to discuss next steps.
