We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Part-Time Building & Grounds Maintenance Associate to help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our winery property, vineyard surroundings, tasting room exterior spaces, and event venues. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and appreciates the atmosphere of a hospitality-focused winery environment. Position Type Part-Time Flexible schedule; weekend availability preferred Approximately 15-25 hours per week, seasonally adjusted Compensation Hourly wage based on experience Winery employee discounts Primary Responsibilities Maintain winery grounds, landscaping, gardens, patios, decks, walkways, and parking areas Perform routine building maintenance and repairs Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems Assist with seasonal property upkeep including pruning, leaf removal, pressure washing, and storm cleanup Monitor and maintain outdoor furniture, lighting, signage, fencing, and guest areas Support event setup and breakdown including tables, chairs, umbrellas, heaters, and outdoor equipment Perform preventative maintenance tasks and identify repair needs proactively Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff Assist with occasional harvest or winery support projects as needed Qualifications Previous experience in groundskeeping, facilities maintenance, landscaping, construction, or related work preferred Comfortable using hand and power tools safely Ability to troubleshoot minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or irrigation issues Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor including bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and extended standing Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Preferred Experience Vineyard or winery maintenance experience Irrigation system maintenance Event setup support Tractor or utility vehicle operation About the Role Our winery property includes landscaped hospitality spaces, vineyard-adjacent grounds, outdoor tasting areas, and event venues that require ongoing care and attention. The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and enjoys helping create an exceptional guest experience through thoughtful property maintenance. Groundskeeping and maintenance roles commonly include landscaping, irrigation upkeep, equipment operation, preventative maintenance, and repair work across outdoor hospitality properties.
