Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of landscaping tasks, including planting, lawn care, hardscape installation, and general landscape maintenance. Your expertise will help transform outdoor environments into vibrant, functional, and aesthetically pleasing areas that meet client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply your technical skills, and contribute to the beautification of diverse landscapes. Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure healthy turf and vibrant lawns. Maintain landscape features by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care including trimming and removal when necessary. Operate hand tools (such as shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (including trimmers, blowers, and saws) safely and efficiently to complete landscaping projects. Install hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures using appropriate construction techniques. Manage irrigation systems by installing new systems or repairing existing ones to ensure proper watering of landscapes. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees; mulching; and seasonal clean-up such as snow plowing in winter months. Use heavy equipment such as excavators for larger landscaping projects while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to plan projects and execute landscaping designs effectively while maintaining high standards of quality. Requirements Proven experience in landscaping or related outdoor maintenance roles with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of lawn equipment, power tools, and construction machinery like excavators. Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, gardening skills, and tree care procedures. Ability to operate hand tools safely as well as power tools essential for landscaping tasks. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair processes. Experience with hardscape construction including patios, walkways, or retaining walls is preferred. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
