Overview Join our dynamic team as a Lead Tree Climber, Experienced Only, and Grounds Person! In this energetic role, you will lead tree care operations with precision and safety, utilizing your advanced climbing skills and horticultural knowledge to maintain healthy, beautiful landscapes. You'll be at the forefront of tree trimming, pruning, and landscape maintenance projects, ensuring every job is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your expertise will help shape vibrant outdoor spaces while mentoring team members and supporting overall grounds management. Duties Lead and execute complex tree climbing tasks using rigging techniques, bucket trucks, and bucket operations to safely access high branches and difficult areas. Perform detailed tree care activities including trimming, pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote growth and safety. Operate equipment such as bucket trucks, lifts, and other landscape machinery with skill and adherence to safety protocols. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks like lawn care, planting, mulching, and general grounds upkeep to enhance aesthetic appeal. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning landscape projects efficiently. Implement rigging procedures for safe removal of hazardous limbs or trees while minimizing impact on surrounding landscapes. Support growing experience by mentoring junior team members in climbing techniques, safety procedures, and horticultural practices. Qualifications Proven experience as a lead or senior tree climber with a strong background in tree care, trimming, and landscape maintenance. Demonstrated proficiency in rigging techniques, bucket operation, and bucket truck use for elevated work. Knowledge of horticulture principles with an emphasis on tree health and growth management. Familiarity with GIS mapping tools is a plus for planning landscape projects. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards at all times. Growing experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is highly desirable. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to tree climbing equipment and machinery operation. Pay:
