OVERVIEW

DeSales University, in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, is a Catholic, private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts university. Founded by the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales in 1964, the 550-acre suburban campus is located about 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles southwest of New York City. A total enrollment of nearly 3,000 includes undergraduate day, evening, and graduate students. EOE POSITION SUMMARY

The groundskeeper has the overall responsibility of maintaining the campus grounds and all equipment used by the department in the maintenance of grounds and snow removal. The hourly rate for this position is between $15.90-$17.88.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma/GED Ability to make independent decisions, use good judgment and demonstrate integrity Proven ability to interact professionally and communicate effectively with individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Must be able to work overtime upon supervisor's request or workload Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license, a clean driving record and transportation Maintains an on-call status for emergency problems Must be able to lift 50lbs.
