Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as pavers and retaining walls Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to maintain healthy lawns and gardens Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, aerating, fertilizing, and watering to keep outdoor areas vibrant and well-kept Support landscape maintenance activities including irrigation system installation and repair, tree care, and snow plowing during winter months Use heavy equipment like excavators for site preparation or grading under supervision to ensure proper land contouring Conduct routine landscape upkeep including hedge trimming, tree trimming, debris removal, and soil preparation Follow safety protocols consistently while handling tools and machinery to ensure a safe work environment for all team members Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating equipment such as excavators, lawn mowers, trimmers, and snow plows Strong understanding of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques Experience with landscaping projects involving planting, hardscape installation, irrigation systems, and garden design Proficiency with hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (chainsaws, blowers) used in landscape work Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth and tree care Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to safety Basic construction skills for site preparation and installation of landscape features This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in landscaping or construction.
