Stable hand and Groundskeeper

In this vital role, you will be responsible for the daily care, maintenance, and management of our farm animals and facilities. Responsibilities Provide daily care for 2 horses , including feeding, watering, grooming, turnout, and health monitoring Operate heavy equipment and farm machinery safely for tasks like feeding, bedding, and pasture maintenance Perform equipment repairs and maintenance using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, or basic mechanical knowledge Maintain cleanliness of stables, barns, pastures, and surrounding areas to promote animal health and safety General landscaping, weed control, and lawn care. Experience Prior experience in farm or stable environments is required Strong mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, equipment repair, welding, and general maintenance Hands-on animal husbandry experience with horses required. Familiarity with heavy lifting, heavy equipment operation (such as forklifts), and use of hand tools or power tool Basic math skills for measurements, feed calculations, and record keeping Experience in animal handling roles demonstrating responsibility and attention to detail This role is essential in maintaining the well-being of our animals while supporting the overall farm operations.
