Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Care Worker to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes through a variety of outdoor tasks. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, combined with your mechanical knowledge and landscaping skills, will help create inviting outdoor spaces for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of landscape maintenance projects, from mowing and trimming to hardscape installation and snow plowing during winter months. Responsibilities Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, push mowers, and string trimmers to ensure a neat and manicured appearance. Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree care, hedge trimming, and gardening tasks to promote healthy growth. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, aerating, and installing irrigation systems. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators or skid steers for site preparation, hardscape installation, or excavation projects. Maintain and repair landscaping equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Assist with snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients. Support construction projects involving hardscape features like patios, walkways, or retaining walls, ensuring quality craftsmanship. Experience Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related outdoor work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and small machinery is highly desirable. Familiarity with horticulture practices, tree care techniques, and irrigation systems is a plus. Ability to operate construction equipment such as excavators or other heavy machinery is advantageous. Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are essential. A proactive attitude with a passion for gardening, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance will help you thrive in this role.
