Ground Crew Member

Position Summary Flynn Tree Services is seeking a reliable, hardworking Ground Crew Member to support daily tree operations. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized job site while assisting climbers and foremen with tree removals, pruning, and general labor. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position with strong opportunities for growth within the company. Key Responsibilities Assist climbers and foremen with tree removal and pruning operations Maintain safe, clean, and organized work zones and drop zones Manage ropes and rigging lines under direction of climber/foreman Safely feed brush and debris into wood chippers Cut and process wood using chainsaws (if trained and authorized) Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials Perform daily job site cleanup and debris removal Direct pedestrian and vehicle traffic when required Communicate clearly and effectively with crew members throughout the job Safety Responsibilities Follow all company safety procedures and

standards Maintain constant awareness of surroundings and overhead hazards Stay clear of active cutting zones and falling debris Wear required PPE at all times (helmet, eye protection, hearing protection, etc.) Never approach active work zones without communication Immediately report unsafe conditions or hazards Stop work if a situation appears unsafe Required Skills & Qualifications Strong work ethic and reliability (shows up on time, ready to work) Ability to take direction and work as part of a team High level of awareness and commitment to safety Ability to perform physically demanding labor daily Experience with landscaping, construction, or tree work is a plus (not required) Willingness to learn and grow within the company Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)

Pay:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
