Groundskeeper Position Summary:

The Part-Time Porter/Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and curb appeal of our four residential properties in our Secane/Clifton Height Portfolio. This role supports the property management and maintenance teams by ensuring common areas, grounds, and amenities are well-kept and presentable for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, laundry rooms, and amenities Perform routine groundskeeping duties such as trash removal, litter pickup, sweeping, and basic landscaping upkeep Ensure dumpster and trash areas are clean, organized, and compliant with property standards Assist with snow removal, salting, and other seasonal property needs Conduct regular property walks to identify and report maintenance or safety concerns Clean and prepare vacant units as needed Support maintenance staff with basic tasks and work order assistance when needed Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is required Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

Must have a vail drivers license and form of reliable transportation Previous porter, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience a plus Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, standing, and walking for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies

Schedule:

Part-time hours (typically 15-25 hours per week) Flexible schedule Must be able to work weekends

Work Environment:

Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions Fast-paced residential community setting

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
