We are a thirty-seven year old lawn and landscape maintenance company that serves the greater Sinking Spring and Wyomissing areas. We are recipients of Berks County Living's Best of Berks Award for nine out of the past ten years. We are seeking a Lawn Care Crew Leader. This position is a highly detailed and experienced lawn maintenance professional who is proficient in all aspects of lawn mowing and maintenance services. The crew leader's main objective is to lead a crew of two to four team members to properly maintain our client's lawns while meeting our high standards of care. Crew leaders work with minimal supervision and provide a safe and positive environment for crew members and clients. The ideal applicant is a strong leader driven by the desire to share in our success, assist in growing and improving the business, and has a genuine love of the outdoors and the service industry.

Responsibilities:

Perform professional mowing services to the highest quality standards Meet man hour goals each day and stay on schedule Ensure proper safety practices are being met Keep an organized job site, truck, and professional appearance at all times Demonstrate leadership; train, organize and manage crew of two to four Interact and properly communicate with crew, client, sales staff, and supervisor Complete necessary documentation and track daily work

Skills:

(you should be considered an expert in this field) Operation of lawn mowers, lawn equipment, large trucks and trailers Clean-up services such as spring clean-up, leaf and debris removal, bed clean-up, etc. Lawn mowing services such as pruning, leaf blower, aerator use, thatcher, etc. Basic knowledge of turf, horticulture and maintenance services Ability to perform preventative maintenance on mowers and other equipment Experience Minimum of a high school diploma Minimum three years of professional mowing Possess a valid PA driver's license Be able to read, speak, and write in English proficiently Clean criminal record and background Excellent verbal and written skills Industry Certifications such as Pesticide License a strong plus Compensation and Benefits Strong pay + incentives Health insurance after 90 days Bonuses Growth opportunities within the company
