Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Groundskeeper and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and health of our outdoor spaces. This energetic position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, utilizing various landscaping and gardening skills to ensure our grounds are pristine, functional, and inviting. As a Seasonal Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for performing routine landscape maintenance, operating power tools and hand tools, and supporting irrigation and lawn care efforts to create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your horticulture expertise while contributing to a vibrant outdoor setting. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep grounds tidy and healthy Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Assist with irrigation system setup, inspection, repair, and seasonal adjustments to ensure optimal watering schedules Conduct lawn care activities like fertilizing, aerating, seeding, and weed control to promote lush greenery Support gardening efforts by planting new flora, mulching beds, removing debris, and maintaining flowerbeds Use hand tools for detailed landscaping work such as planting, digging, or installing landscape features Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and longevity of all machinery Qualifications Prior experience or training in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued Knowledge of lawn care practices, gardening techniques, and landscaping principles Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely following proper procedures Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of grounds care Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team or independently Valid driver's license is required Embark on an outdoor adventure that combines physical activity with creative landscaping!
