Landscape Laborer

Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping projects such as edging, digging, and planting. Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures. Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, watering, and snow plowing during winter months. Help with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth. Support construction projects by operating equipment like excavators under supervision and assisting with site preparation and cleanup. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as mowers and trimmers. Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions; stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and equipment operation. Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; eager to learn new skills related to landscaping and hardscape installation. Prior experience with tree care or snow plowing is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
