Summary As a Grounds Maintenance Worker at SOUTHCO, you will play an essential role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of commercial properties. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of providing exceptional property maintenance services, ensuring that landscapes are well-kept and inviting. Responsibilities Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and weedeating. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping duties. Dig and prepare areas for planting or other landscaping projects. Conduct tree care activities such as trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth. Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. Assist in garden maintenance tasks to enhance property aesthetics. Follow safety protocols while performing all maintenance duties. Qualifications Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and operating power tools. Familiarity with tree care practices and techniques is a plus. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
