Golf Course Maintenance

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring that our grounds and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform regular maintenance of gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas to ensure they remain healthy and visually appealing. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks. Irrigate plants and manage watering schedules to promote optimal growth. Conduct groundskeeping activities including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Maintain equipment used in landscaping and lawn care to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist with landscape design projects as needed, contributing ideas for improvements or enhancements. Monitor plant health and identify any issues that may require attention, such as pests or diseases. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in lawn care and landscaping. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics. Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape design principles is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions. Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods.
