Golf Course Maintenance Technician Palmetto Hall Golf & Country Club -
Hilton Head Island, SC Pay Range:
$16-$18 per hour, based on experience
Status:
Full-Time Position Summary The Golf Course Maintenance Technician assists in the overall care and maintenance of the golf course, practice facilities, and surrounding landscapes. This role supports the daily operations of the Grounds Department and helps maintain exceptional playing conditions for members and guests. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and general turf maintenance. Rake and maintain bunkers. Assist with irrigation system repairs and adjustments. Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, and landscaped areas. Apply fertilizer, topdressing materials, and other turf products under supervision. Set up golf course features including tee markers, cups, ropes, and signage. Assist with course improvement projects and storm cleanup. Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations. Qualifications Previous golf course, landscaping, agricultural, or grounds maintenance experience preferred. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday. Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
