Avista Resort Job Description:

The grounds maintenance personnel will keep public property areas clean, safe, and organized, using equipment such as hand tools and power tools. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, collecting trash, sweeping, and wiping down outdoor items.

Shift:

Days & Afternoons Part-Time & Full-Time Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Empties all trash chutes, trash cans, and parking lot as needed Sweeps and power washes as needed Mowing, weed eating, trimming, laying sod, planting & watering flowers, fertilizer, and other landscaping duties Operates the trash compactor Maintain and keep inventory on all equipment Keep work spaces clean and hazard free Perform other light maintenance work orders as assigned such as changing light bulbs, painting, assisting in moving furniture, etc. Immediately report any building issues seen while performing daily tasks Effective and professional communication with guests and other team members

Requirements:
