Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance and Landscaping Technician, where your passion for outdoor beauty and precision will help create and sustain a pristine, inviting golf environment. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the lush greens, fairways, and surrounding landscaping to ensure an exceptional experience for players and visitors alike. Your expertise in horticulture, lawn care, and landscape maintenance will directly contribute to the course's aesthetic appeal and playability. Duties Mow, edge, and trim grass using hand tools and power tools to maintain a well-manicured appearance across the course. Operate irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules that promote healthy turf and plant growth. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and mulching to enhance the course's visual appeal. Maintain and repair landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools. Assist with general gardening duties like weed control, soil preparation, and pest management to keep the course in top condition. Conduct routine inspections of turf health and landscape features, reporting any issues or needed repairs promptly. Support seasonal projects such as aeration, overseeding, or new planting initiatives to improve course quality year-round. Requirements Prior experience with lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is valued. Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic maintenance of landscape equipment is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in outdoor settings. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor labor for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of course appearance. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly in a fast-paced environment. A passion for gardening, landscaping, or outdoor work that inspires quality craftsmanship.
