We host weddings, corporate retreats, and events year-round—and we are building a team that takes pride in keeping the property at a high standard. We have a lead maintenance/grounds professional. This role is for someone who is ready to work hard, learn quickly, and grow into more responsibility over time. If you want to learn, earn, and build real skills, keep reading. What You Will Be Responsible For You will support day-to-day operations and help keep the property clean, functional, and guest-ready at all times. Daily Property Work Mowing, weed-eating, edging, and general grounds upkeep Leaf blowing, pressure washing, and maintaining outdoor spaces Watering plants, planting flowers, and maintaining landscaping Removing trash, debris, and anything out of place Maintenance Support Assist with repairs (painting, basic fixes, upkeep tasks) Work alongside lead maintenance staff and take direction well Report issues immediately and help resolve them quickly Event Support Set up and break down tables, chairs, and event equipment Turn over spaces quickly between events and guest stays Make sure everything is in place and on time Property Awareness Walk the property and notice what needs attention Take initiative—don't wait to be told every task Help maintain a clean, professional appearance across the entire property Who We Are Looking For Strong work ethic and willingness to improve Reliable and punctual (non-negotiable) Takes pride in physical, hands-on work Able to move quickly and stay focused Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions Follows direction and learns from feedback Communicates clearly with team members
Required Experience:
Some hands-on experience in maintenance, landscaping, construction, or similar work Basic familiarity with tools and equipment What Will Not Work in This Role Laziness or lack of urgency Waiting around to be told what to do Complaining about physical work or weather Missing details or cutting corners Schedule & Pay Flexible schedule based on events and bookings Must be available for weekdays and weekends as needed Competitive hourly pay based on reliability and performance Opportunity for growth and increased responsibility over time Bottom Line This is an opportunity to build real skills and grow into a larger role —but only if you show up, work hard, and take ownership.
