Groundskeeper/Landskeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, ensuring that gardens, lawns, and other green areas are well-kept and thriving. A passion for nature and outdoor work is essential, as well as a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Perform regular lawn care activities, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing. Irrigate gardens and lawns to ensure proper hydration and growth. Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other plant life through pruning and weeding. Assist in landscape design projects by planting new flowers, shrubs, or trees as needed. Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects efficiently.

Skills:

Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques, including irrigation systems and lawn care practices. Experience using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools like trimmers and blowers. Strong understanding of gardening principles, including plant care and pest management. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality groundskeeping results. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day.
