Entry Level Landscape Technician

Overview We are seeking an Entry Level Landscaper to join our dynamic landscaping team. This role supports the creation and upkeep of beautiful, functional outdoor spaces while providing valuable hands-on experience in landscaping and horticulture. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to ensure healthy and attractive turf. Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and blowers to support planting, pruning, and debris removal activities. Support the installation of hardscape features like pathways, patios, and retaining walls under supervision. Help with planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery while adhering to best horticultural practices. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and assisting with adjustments or repairs. Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff. Support equipment maintenance by cleaning and inspecting power tools and machinery regularly. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping. Prior experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to operate small construction equipment such as excavators with proper training or supervision. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques. Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently outdoors. Good physical condition to handle manual labor tasks such as lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods. Willingness to learn about horticulture principles, irrigation systems, snow plowing procedures, and hardscape installation techniques.
