Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscaping techniques. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various landscapes, ensuring that gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces are healthy and well-kept. The Landscape Technician will work closely with clients to meet their landscaping needs while adhering to safety standards and best practices. Duties Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to maintain a neat appearance. Dig, plant, and care for trees, shrubs, and flowers to enhance landscape aesthetics. Build and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Provide tree care services including tree trimming and removal as necessary. Operate various landscaping equipment safely and efficiently, demonstrating mechanical knowledge for maintenance tasks. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects on time while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Experience Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals. Familiarity with gardening techniques, irrigation systems, and tree care practices is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance is beneficial. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are essential for this role.
