Full job description Overview We're looking for a dependable and skilled Grounds & Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in keeping our community's common areas, landscaping, and water features well-maintained, safe, and attractive year-round. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, hands-on experience with outdoor maintenance, and takes pride in creating a clean, well-kept environment for residents. Responsibilities Perform regular lawn care including mowing, trimming, edging, and seasonal leaf removal. Handle landscaping tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and basic tree or shrub care. Maintain fountains, ponds, and related water systems, ensuring proper operation and cleanliness. Safely operate and maintain tools, power equipment, and small machinery such as mowers and trimmers. Assist with irrigation system upkeep and adjustments as needed. Support minor construction, repair, and hardscape projects (walkways, retaining walls, etc.). Provide snow and ice removal during winter months for safe access around the community. Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas, tools, and vehicles. Qualifications Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or property maintenance preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating light equipment or machinery. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience with leaf removal, snow plowing, or tree trimming preferred. Valid driver's license preferred.
