Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining a pristine, enjoyable environment for golfers and visitors alike. Responsibilities Maintain the health and appearance of the golf course by performing lawn care, landscaping, and gardening tasks using hand tools and power tools. Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules that promote healthy turf growth. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment including mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools to keep them in optimal condition. Assist with planting, pruning, fertilizing, and aerating greens, fairways, and surrounding landscapes to enhance course aesthetics. Monitor and repair irrigation systems and drainage to prevent water issues that could impact turf quality. Ensure safety standards are followed during all maintenance activities and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly. Support overall course beautification efforts through landscaping projects that improve visual appeal and environmental sustainability. Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is highly desirable. Familiarity with irrigation systems, power tools, hand tools, and lawn care equipment is essential. Knowledge of horticulture principles and turf management practices will be an advantage. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail. Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of course quality. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are preferred.
