Full-time Job Overview:

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Mowing Crew Lead to join our team. The Mowing Crew Lead will oversee daily mowing operations, ensure high-quality work, manage a team of field workers, and maintain excellent client relationships. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of lawn maintenance.

• Full-Time, non-exempt

Key Responsibilities:

Work 30-50 hours weekly Lead and manage the mowing crew, delegating tasks effectively to ensure efficient completion of daily assignments Perform lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanup, ensuring high-quality results Operate and maintain various lawn care equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers, ensuring safety and proper function Train and mentor crew members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and procedures Communicate with clients to address their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction Coordinate with management to schedule jobs and manage resources Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs Keep accurate records of work completed, hours worked, and any incidents or challenges encountered Assist in various landscaping projects including planting, mulching, weeding, trimming, constructing flower beds, hardscaping, drainage, and tree work Ensuring water coolers are filled at the beginning of each day and cleaned weekly Keep work location, jobsite, and work vehicles clean and hazard free

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and a good driving record Reliable transportation Pass a background check Proven experience in lawn care and landscaping, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role Proficiency in operating and maintaining lawn care equipment Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Knowledge of lawn care techniques and best practices Ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting heavy objects up to 80 pounds and working on your feet for extended periods Ability to work in various weather conditions
