Construction drawing review Underground utility pipelaying projects Pipelaying safety compliance practices Water management system pipelaying projects Trenching and excavation safety procedures Confined space entry safety procedures Construction trenching Sewer line repair Pipeline Full Job Description Qualifications Specific experience in underground wet utility construction Specific experience in removal, installation, and repair of underground wet utility pipelines and structures Experienced and with a full understanding of confined space and trench safety standards Able to read and understand plans and specs with accuracy Clear understanding of the scope of work and ensure that any work done outside the scope of work is approved by the customer as well as additional payments for the additional work Minimum of 5 years experience Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Pre-employment drug screen required Willingness to travel Responsibilities Responsible for managing the on-site operations and installation of sewer, water, and storm drain projects, directing and training field personnel, and demonstrating effective communication with project managers, superintendents, and other governing agencies to ensure on-time and on-budget productivity Ability to perform multiple job and have a working knowledge of current project status and issues while building and maintaining strong customer relationships through highly- responsive service, reliability, and quality work Able to control labor, material, supply, and equipment cost to assure the job is completed on schedule and within budget Able to cooperate and coordinate with other trades on the job site Responsible for ensuring that only qualified operators run the equipment and all rental equipment is returned promptly after use with a full tank of fuel Conduct daily safety inspections and properly fill out JSA (job safety analysis)

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
