In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of landscaping projects, including lawn care and landscape maintenance. Your hands-on work will help transform outdoor environments, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and sustainable. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture and equipment operation while contributing to vibrant community spaces. Duties Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating to maintain healthy and attractive turf. Assist with landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, mulching, and weed control. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, and installing landscape features. Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth. Experience Prior experience with landscaping or gardening is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and landscaping equipment is a plus. Basic understanding of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques is beneficial. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and land management.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
