This is a contractor (1099) position with steady work, opportunities for advancement, and the potential for future W2 employment with benefits for the right person. We are building a strong team culture and are looking for someone who is reliable, communicative, safety-minded, and ready to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Pay Starting pay:

$15/hour Opportunities for raises based on reliability, performance, and attitude No overtime currently Schedule Monday-Friday Typically starts around 9:00 AM until the day's work is completed Work is primarily in the Greater Waco area Morning meet-up location is usually in Gholson Job sites vary day to day Responsibilities Duties will vary depending on the jobs scheduled, but may include: Tree trimming and tree removal Climbing work Ground crew support Landscaping and cleanup Operating chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, skid steers, and other equipment Hauling debris and assisting with trailers as needed Working safely and efficiently as part of a team Requirements Minimum 3 years of tree work experience Valid driver's license with clean driving record Must own a reliable vehicle Must be communicative and responsive Must be dependable and show up consistently Must be comfortable working outdoors in Texas summer conditions Must be physically capable of demanding labor including lifting, climbing, dragging brush, and long workdays Must work well with others and contribute positively to team culture Tools & Equipment Must provide basic hand tools Climbing equipment preferred As this is a contractor position, applicants are expected to provide their own basic gear and equipment Preferred Qualities We are looking for someone who is: Hardworking Reliable Self-motivated Safety-conscious Team-oriented Willing to grow with the company Important Notes This is a 1099 contractor position to start. While there are currently no benefits offered, the right individual may have opportunities for long-term advancement and eventual transition into a W2 employee role with benefits.
