• The position of Grounds Person
• Seasonal is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the preparation and delivery of a world-class international cricket venue ahead of the 2026 Summer of Cricket, including the 2026 Cognizant Major League Cricket tournament.

Reporting to the Head Curator, Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, the role's primary purpose is to assist with the daily turf operations at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, including the preparation of the venue for training sessions and matches.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Assist with daily turf operations as required; Assist with the preparation and presentation of Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium and its training facilities in an efficient and effective manner; Assist with the preparation and management of turf sports surfaces which include: cricket pitch squares and ovals; practice cricket pitches; all other turf and landscaping at the venue; and application of covers on cricket pitches as required. Assist with turf, machinery or irrigation repairs and programmed maintenance to minimize cost; Proactively promote and comply with WHS policies and procedures within compliance with WHS requirements; and Assist with other venue operations and duties as requested by the Head Curator, Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium.
