• What you'll do as a

Grounds Maintenance:

• + Perform a variety of grounds maintenance functions in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled craft trades to supportassigned contract. + Assist in the planning, layout and completion of modifications and repairs. + Assist in the accomplishment of minor grounds maintenance tasks which must be performed to proficiency. + Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of grounds equipment.

• What you'll

Need:

• + High school diploma or GED + Minimum of (1) year of prior experience in grounds keeping or landscaping preferred.

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• + Ability to climb, bend, squat, lift and carry objects ranging from 10-60 pounds; Occasionally push objects up to 100 pounds; prolong walking up to 90%.

+ Knowledge of methods used in grounds keeping, including use of all types of lawn equipment. + Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery. + Ability to demonstrate accuracy and speed in work performed. + Ability to read, understand, and complete incoming work orders. + Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures and regulations as needed. + Ability to communicate both orally and in written format. + Ability to work as a team member and develop effective working relationships with other staff and clients.

• Other Requirements:

• + Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.

+ Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors. + Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays. + Possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record. + If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
