Job Description
The purpose of this position is to assist Cemetery maintenance crew with day-to-day duties of operating the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Drive light trucks to haul supplies and materials such as dirt and caliche. Operate mowers and other machines of comparable size and complexity. Maintain and service equipment, machines and trucks. Assist with various other activities including mowing and edging grass, maintaining sprinkler systems, and removing litter and debris. Assist in the preparation for funerals. Completion of the tenth grade with an additional six months to one year of experience in operation and maintenance of light motorized equipment; or any combination of relevant education and experience which provides the following Physical Exam Required Driver's License preferred but not required
