This energetic position involves assisting with a wide range of landscaping, lawn care, and maintenance projects. Duties Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, weed control, and aerating to maintain healthy turf Support landscape maintenance activities including pruning, tree trimming, irrigation system installation and repairs Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (weed eaters, edgers, mowers, blowers) safely and efficiently Spread ice melt during winter months to ensure safe access to properties and walk ways. Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards Experience Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for equipment operation and maintenance Familiarity with lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to safety protocols Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this energetic role.
