We need dedicated individuals with a solid work ethic to handle vital ground-level tree care and firewood production duties. This is a fantastic chance to kick-start a career in the tree care industry with a business that actively values your professional development.
Core Responsibilities Run Machinery:
Operate essential equipment, including chainsaws, wood splitters, and brush chippers.
Site Maintenance:
Execute ground-level trimming, pruning, and thorough job site cleanups.
Debris Management:
Drag and haul brush, logs, and wood debris to the chipper or disposal bins.
Crew Assistance:
Provide reliable ground support and rigging assistance to climbers and the lead arborist.
Logistics:
Prepare trucks by loading and unloading gear for daily job sites and deliveries.
Equipment Upkeep:
Perform routine maintenance and care on equipment during downtime or non-work days.
Firewood Duties:
Help process and deliver firewood to customers.
Compensation & Benefits Competitive Daily Rate:
$160 to $180 daily, depending on your level of experience.
Entry-Level Base:
Guaranteed minimum of $140 per day for new grounds crew members.
Weekly Compensation:
Dependable weekly paychecks issued every Thursday.
Career Growth:
Gain hands-on training to advance into a skilled tree trimmer, climber, or specialized groundsman. We actively support your journey to earning an ISA Arborist Certification and SPCS License.
Steady Hours:
Consistent work is available year-round, rain or shine.
Candidate Requirements Valid License:
An active, current driver's license is mandatory.
Commute:
You must have dependable transportation to reach our headquarters in Princeton, TX.
Physical Endurance:
Capable of sustaining heavy manual labor for 8 to 10 hours daily across all types of weather conditions.
Safety-First Mindset:
Fully committed to strictly adhering to our safety protocols and guidelines.
Background:
Prior experience as a general laborer or in landscaping/tree care is beneficial, though we will gladly train the right candidate!
