Job Description

JOB HIGHLIGHTS
Qualifications:
  • Must be comfortable in an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to interpret civil blueprints
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and attention to detail is a must!
  • 2 years in a construction office setting, handling underground utility takeoffs
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or other digital measurement software
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to manage documents and numbers
  • Communication skills for coordinating with project managers/estimators
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and have a good attitude
  • High school diploma or some college (degree preferred but not required).

Holiday Pay Responsibilities:
Review and analyze underground utility construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to identify scope of work Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing for materials and services Assist in preparing bid proposals by compiling quantities, pricing, and supporting documentation Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate cost estimates based on takeoff data Use Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or other digital measurement software to perform precise takeoffs, quantify materials, and generate detailed reports Coordinate and request site visits when required by the customer for bidding purposes Support project management efforts by tracking costs, managing budgets, and implementing cost control measures Other duties as assigned Coordinate with construction site teams to ensure estimates align with on-the-ground realities and project timelines Management reserves the right to modify or assign duties as necessary in response to business needs and company priorities Job description: Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment?
