San Antonio, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Tree trimming Lawn care Outdoor work Mowing Driving Full Job Description Job Overview Join our up-and-coming landscaping team as a Landscape Crew Member and be a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors, applying your skills in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and hardscape projects. You will play a key role in maintaining gardens, trees, and lawns while gaining hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. Whether you're trimming trees, mowing a lawn or operating power tools, your contributions will help create stunning landscapes that clients love. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators, compactors and skid steers safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects Assist with installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Conduct lawn care activities including fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote lush, healthy turf Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, leaves, and waste materials regularly Follow safety protocols at all times while handling equipment and performing physically demanding tasks Qualifications Bilingual (Spanish preferred) Valid Drivers license Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Prior experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required Ability to operate equipment such as excavators is a plus but not required; training will be provided Good physical condition with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor labor for extended periods Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning is advantageous Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
