This specialized role focuses on major mainline drain, sewer, and underground utility crises. You will respond directly to targeted, pre-screened leads generated daily. Using advanced sewer cameras and diagnostic tools, you will identify structural pipeline failures, present clear visual proof to homeowners, and sell repair and excavation solutions. All work is performed under the regulatory oversight of our company's Responsible Master Plumber.

Job Description:

Underground specialists perform camera diagnostics, locating, drain cleaning, mainline services, and sell comprehensive replacement or rehabilitation projects. You guide stressed homeowners through expensive emergency choices by delivering clear visual proof, flat rate pricing options, and financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Diagnostics:

Run sewer camera inspections and electronic locators to find structural pipe failures.

Visual Consultations:

Share live video footage with homeowners to explain root intrusion, structural collapses, or pipe scale.

High Ticket Estimating:

Build clear estimates using established flat rate pricing menus for excavation jobs.

Sales Closing:

Overcome objections with empathy, deliver the Mr. Rooter value proposition, and secure a signed contract.

Financing Presentation:

Offer company sponsored financing packages to help customers afford major, unexpected project costs immediately.

Crew Hand off:

Document accurate site markers, utility layouts, and digging scopes for the excavation and repair crews.

Brand and Regulatory Compliance:

Maintain a clean appearance, drive a clean company vehicle, and uphold the Yes! Plumbing Services standard of excellence while adhering strictly to all Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

TSBPE Licensure:

Must hold a current, valid credential issued by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners.

Acceptable levels include:

Licensed Tradesman Plumber Limited (or higher: Journeyman or Master Plumber), OR Registered Plumbers Apprentice with an Active Drain Cleaner or Residential Utilities Installer (RUI) registration.

Trade Experience:

Minimum 2 years of hands on experience in residential plumbing, drain cleaning, or underground utility work within the state of Texas.

Sales Track Record:

Proven success closing high ticket residential contracts.

Technical Equipment Mastery:

Highly proficient with mainline sewer cameras, digital locators, and cable machines.

Physical Ability:

Perform heavy physical labor periodically, including lifting 50lbs of diagnostic equipment, navigating tight crawlspaces or basements, and working outdoors in varying Texas weather conditions.

Driving Record and Screenings:

Maintain a completely clean driving record that is free of accidents and major violations, hold a valid Texas driver's license, and pass a TSBPE compliant fingerprint background check and drug screening.
