Job Description

Part-Time Grounds Crew Member - Municipal Golf Course Position Summary The City is seeking a dependable Part-Time Grounds Crew Member to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the municipal golf course, grounds, facilities, and equipment. This position works approximately 20 hours per week and offers part-time benefits. Key Responsibilities Maintain putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and sand traps. Mow, water, aerate, edge, weed, and perform general turf care. Maintain landscaping and ornamental plantings around golf course facilities. Remove trash, leaves, and debris from the course and surrounding areas. Assist with golf cart maintenance and other grounds operations as needed. Operate mowers, string trimmers, utility vehicles, and other grounds equipment. Provide excellent customer service while working safely and cooperatively with staff and the public. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Texas Class C driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Experience in grounds, turf, landscaping, or golf course maintenance is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and operating equipment. Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and other weather conditions. Schedule Approximately 20 hours per week. Must be available for flexible scheduling, including early mornings, weekdays, and weekends. Pre-Employment Requirements Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a physical exam, physical performance evaluation, drug/alcohol screening, and background check.

From $18.79 per hour
