Lead Underground Plumbing Liner Specialist Neighborly Plumbing & Services Sandy, UT Job Details Full-time $31.09 - $40.00 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work Cutting Driver's License Underground utilities installation Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description The Role As a Liner Specialist, you will be the boots-on-the-ground expert executing trenchless sewer repairs and Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining. You'll be diagnosing underground issues, preparing pipes, and installing liners that stand the test of time.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection & Diagnosis:
Conduct thorough CCTV camera inspections of sewer and drain lines to identify blockages, breaks, and structural issues.
Pipe Preparation:
Safely and effectively clean, descale, and hydro-jet underground pipes to prepare them for the lining process.
CIPP Installation:
Measure, cut, saturate, and install Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) liners with precision.
Equipment Operation:
Operate and maintain trenchless technology equipment, inversion drums, and curing systems.
Quality Control:
Perform post-lining camera inspections to ensure a flawless finish and proper flow.
Safety First:
Maintain a clean work site and strictly adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols, particularly concerning confined spaces and underground work.
Customer Communication:
Explain the trenchless process clearly and courteously to homeowners or property managers.
What We're Looking For Experience:
Proven experience in underground plumbing, specifically with trenchless pipe lining, pipe bursting, or CIPP installation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with sewer cameras, locators, hydro-jetters, and lining equipment.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50+ lbs), work in various weather conditions, and occasionally navigate confined spaces.
Problem Solver:
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot on the fly.
Requirements:
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check.
Pay:
$31.09 - $40.00 per hour
