In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes through hands-on work with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work and attention to detail will help create beautiful, functional environments that clients love. This position offers flexible hours, allowing you to contribute your skills while balancing other commitments. Duties Mow lawns and trim grass using power tools such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to ensure neat and healthy turf. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, and weed control to keep outdoor spaces vibrant. Operate hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for planting, soil preparation, and general upkeep. Use machinery such as excavators or small construction equipment for hardscape projects or site preparation when needed. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, or removal with proper techniques and safety procedures. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment and power tools is preferred. Experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; familiarity with excavators or other construction machinery is a plus. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, tree trimming, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation. Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is necessary. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety standards and quality work. Prior experience with snow plowing or winter landscaping is a bonus but not required.
