Groundskeeping Maintenance Job Description Join our dynamic utility department where you will engage in landscaping during the summer and perform essential maintenance tasks around the facility and town during the winter. This includes working with pumps, valves, piping, and plumbing, and maintaining various types of equipment. Responsibilities Perform landscaping duties in the summer season. Conduct maintenance tasks around the facility and town during the winter. Maintain and repair equipment, including pumps, valves, and piping. Handle plumbing and electrical tasks as needed. Utilize hand tools and demonstrate general mechanical aptitude. Essential Skills Facilities maintenance experience. General maintenance skills. Proficiency in equipment maintenance, including landscaping and electrical tasks. Handyman experience with plumbing and electrical knowledge. Clean driving record. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working on various equipment. Jack of all trades/handyman type candidate. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in both indoor and outdoor settings at a water sewer facility by the lake, supporting 1800 customers near the town. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Hill, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
