On-Call Landscape Helper

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable part time, On-Call Landscape Helper to support our growing landscape maintenance and outdoor construction teams. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are eager to learn new skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment. As an On-Call Landscape Helper, you will assist with a variety of landscape and groundskeeping tasks, helping ensure our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in landscaping, equipment use, excavation, and outdoor maintenance. This is an on call only job with hours ranging from anywhere from 0 - 20 hours in a week. this is the perfect opportunity for somebody looking to gain a little knowledge into the world of excavation and landscaping. Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation using hand tools and power tools Support lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, trimming, and aeration to maintain healthy turf areas Help with landscape maintenance tasks like pruning trees and shrubs, tree care, and hedge trimming to promote plant health Operate equipment such as snow plows, skid steers, and other machinery under supervision Perform general groundskeeping duties including gardening, hardscape installation (patios, walkways), and seasonal snow removal Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; assist with routine maintenance of landscaping machinery Support team members during construction projects involving fencing, hardscaping, or other outdoor structures Skills Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks Experience is not required Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in construction, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately A valid drivers license is a must Join our team as an On-Call Landscape Helper to contribute to beautiful outdoor spaces while developing valuable skills in landscaping and groundskeeping.
