Gardener

Intrinsic is seeking a lead Gardener to join out growing landscape business. The ideal canidate would have have a passion for designing and maintaining amazing landscapes for our clients. If you have a strict attention to detail paired with a vast comphrehension of plantings we want to talk with you.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage a crew of 2-8
• Demonstrate grade A communication, personal, leadership and organizational skills
• Perform, teach and assist with any facet of landscaping (pruning,weeding,etc)
• Ensure any work completed is up to company standards, able to rectify if not
• Assist with new landscape designs and manage/lead new installations
• Oversee a safe work site and environment
• Comprehend and follow schedules and timelines
• Manage inventory, stock and/or aggregate materials

• Maintenance of Trucks, Equipment and Tools Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Clean insurable license
• Top notch landscape install and maintenance experience
• Able to utilize pruning equipment, knowledge of how and when to prune
• Knowledge of trees, shrubs and annuals/perennials, how to install/care for them
• General knowledge of common weeds and pests in garden beds
• Excellent skill in driving trucks with trailers
• Proficient in utilizing common tools to refine and prep beds
• Able to problem solve and think quickly
• Possess grade A communication, personal, leadership and organizational skills
• Hold a current VT or reciprocal state Herbicide license is a plus
