Grounds & Landscaping Services Specialist Do you have experience with gardening and grounds maintenance? We are excited to have an opportunity for a Grounds and Nursery Services Specialist to join our team at our behavioral health treatment campus, Maple Lane, in Grand Mound, WA. This role performs a variety of skilled grounds and gardening work under the supervision of the Grounds and Nursery Supervisor at Maple Lane Facility. Behavioral Health Treatment Center Maple Lane offers innovative treatment for residents who are civilly committed, in need of competency restoration, or adjudicated not guilty by reason of mental diagnosis. Each residential unit helps shape the future of behavioral health, aligning with Washington State's vision of community-based care. Treating residents in smaller facilities, we help them stay closer to home, family, and support systems, fostering stronger community connections. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary. Work schedule: 7.00AM

30PM Monday to Friday Some of what you'll do: Perform skilled grounds and gardening work. Maintain lawns, sidewalks, plants, shrubs, flower beds, infiltration ponds and Bioretention cells Removes any unruly vegetation or shrubbery growth that is out of control Reports any presence of poison ivy or other poisonous vegetation or insect nests Cleans and removes trash/debris from catch basins and storm-water drains Spread, cultivate, seed, weed and irrigate soil for gardens and lawns Installs, maintains, repairs and adjusts water sprinkler systems and control devices Applies pesticides and herbicides to flowers and shrubs Formulating annual operating plans for storm-water maintenance programs Who should apply: People with high school graduation or equivalent AND at least two years' experience gardening or in ground maintenance.
