Landscape Technician

Core Landscape Maintenance:

Execute professional lawn and grounds care, including precise mowing, edging, pruning, and shaping of shrubs and plants.

Turf Care & Enhancement:

Perform specialized lawn health services, including core aeration, overseeding, and proper "weed & feed" applications to promote lush, healthy turf.

Weed Management:

Conduct thorough mechanical weeding of garden beds and hardscapes, as well as safe and compliant chemical herbicide applications.

Equipment Operation & Maintenance:

Safely operate commercial-grade power equipment and hand tools. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on assigned equipment and keep work vehicles clean and organized.

Customer Service:

Interact professionally, courteously, and helpfully with clients while on-site.

Safety Compliance:

Strictly adhere to all company safety procedures and guidelines, particularly concerning power equipment operation and the safe handling/application of landscaping chemicals.

Route Management & Quality Assurance:

Follow daily schedules and routes efficiently to ensure timely completion of jobs, ensuring all services meet Gard Services' high standards of quality. Qualifications Experience in landscape maintenance and grounds keeping preferred Proficiency in lawn care and gardening techniques preferred Drivers License and clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

Lift and carry up to 50lbs, climb ladders up to 30 ft. safety, work at heights comfortably, and stand/walk/bend/crouch/push for extended periods. Hand strength and dexterity to use tools and equipment safely. Familiarity with horticulture practices Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions. Able to use hand tools and power tools Ability to follow safety procedures and directions. Applicable licensing to apply herbicides or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and manage outdoor spaces effectively
