In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining lawns, gardens, trees, and hardscape features across various properties. Your work will ensure that landscapes are healthy, aesthetically pleasing, and well-kept, contributing to the overall beauty and safety of the environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your landscaping skills and mechanical knowledge in a dynamic outdoor setting.

Location:

Granite Falls Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and watering to promote healthy turf growth. Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and installing new plantings. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, trimming, digging, and planting. Maintain hardscape features including pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other constructed elements using appropriate tools and techniques. Manage irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs. Assist with snow plowing and snow removal during winter months to ensure safe access across properties. Support construction projects related to landscaping or site improvements using excavators or other heavy equipment as needed. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators. Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Ability to perform tree care including trimming and pruning with proper techniques. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is preferred. Experience with snow plowing equipment during winter seasons is a plus. Familiarity with hardscape installation and general construction principles related to landscaping projects. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects safely. Prior experience working with landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, hedge cutters, and tree care tools is highly desirable.
