Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic team dedicated to creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing landscapes through a variety of hands-on tasks. Your expertise will help transform outdoor environments, ensuring they are healthy, attractive, and safe. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize diverse tools and machinery, and contribute to the aesthetic appeal of residential or commercial properties. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects. Install and repair hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Conduct lawn care activities such as aeration, fertilization, watering, and pest control to promote lush greenery. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules. Provide tree care services including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal in accordance with horticultural best practices. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients and visitors. Experience Prior experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating equipment like lawnmowers, trimmers, excavators, and other landscaping machinery. Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including gardening practices and hardscape installation is highly desirable. Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and health assessment will be considered an asset. Experience in construction-related tasks involving landscape installation or renovation projects is a plus.
