Custodian and Groundskeepers Assistant

You will find meaningful work in this role with the opportunity to collaborate and make a positive impact every day We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian/Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to grounds maintenance, with an emphasis on industrial cleaning, custodial duties, and general facilities upkeep. Responsibilities Cleaning common areas such as hallways, stairwells, community meeting rooms and all areas where residents gather. Vacuuming, wiping down furniture, cleaning light fixtures, window cleaning and mopping floors.

Grounds keeping:

mowing lawns, some weeding, minor tree trimming, edge trimming walkways, leaf blowing, pressure washing and maintenance of irrigation system Assist with residential painting projects as needed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property. Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team to address any repair needs or improvements. Requirements Must be able to follow instructions, work well with fellow employees. Proven experience in groundskeeping or related fields such as commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet the demands of the job. Must be a self starter.

Pay:

$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
