Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic position involves assisting with a variety of landscape and construction projects, ensuring that each site is maintained to the highest standards. You will work alongside experienced professionals to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, gardening, hardscape installation, and equipment operation. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, edging, digging, and other landscaping activities Support the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures Conduct lawn care activities including aeration, fertilization, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and performing routine repairs Perform tree care tasks such as trimming, pruning, and supporting young trees to promote healthy growth Support excavation work using equipment like excavators under supervision for site preparation or landscaping projects Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, or horticulture Ability to operate landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and snow plows safely Knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming and pruning is a plus Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, hardscape installation, irrigation systems, and equipment maintenance Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials regularly This role offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in landscaping while contributing to visually stunning outdoor spaces.
