Student Trainee - Facilities

PUD 3 is looking to fill student positions in our Facilities Department to work full-time over the summer and potential part-time work during the school year. Landscaping Mowing String trimming (weed eating) Weeding Trimming shrubbery Clearing leaves and debris Spreading beauty bark, gravel, etc. Assistance with cleaning, window washing, general office maintenance Transport vehicles as needed Other duties as assigned Must be 16 years of age or older Some experience working outdoors or performing physical labor preferred Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, management and customers Ability to follow direction and stay on task while completing assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner. Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment. Regular and reliable attendance, with the ability to report to work on time and ready to begin assigned tasks. Physical Demand & Work Environment Use of landscaping equipment Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as raking, digging, and debris removal Occasional work near roadways Ability to traverse various types of terrain a regular basis Work is primarily performed outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain Mason PUD 3 is an equal opportunity employer.
